underwater photography

Since always in love with sea and scuba diving, I consider the underwater photography as a natural evolution of my profession, in which combining passion for the sea and for photography.

“Flying” all around your image, without weight or limits it’s a unique sensation: you are one with the element surrounding you. Images are shaped by the fluid, giving the chance to shoot 360°, without the limits imposed by material gravity.

Underwater photography has become a very big part of my activity, and after over 9,000 dives in more than 20 years diving, every time I look into the blue I feel fulfilled like only in the Sixth Continent I do.

I am currently living and working in Canary Islands – where I also organize underwater photography courses and workshops – and abroad for underwater reportages.

Contributor for NEREUS magazine – the official magazine of the Swiss Underwater Federation FSSS/SUSV.

For my underwater shootings I’m using Canon cameras and lenses, Nauticam housings and Sea&Sea strobe lights.
